THE "A HEART FOR YOU" JOURNEY

While examining patients and dispensing medicine at Cự Tân parish, the Medical Team came across the case of Nguyễn Thị Thu (7 years old) of Tân Thanh parish, Vinh diocese, who suffers from a congenital heart defect. According to what local people told us, her family's circumstances are especially difficult: her parents are farmers with no income.

     The Medical Team, together with Doctor Liêu and the parish priest of Tân Thanh, visited her home to learn more about Thu's condition. Straight afterwards, we began the procedures to have her treated. On the morning of 20 October 2022, Thu's heart intervention surgery at Hanoi Medical University Hospital was completed successfully.
