“Programming”
From the moment I first came across a pocket calculator with its four simple operations — add, subtract, multiply, divide — I wondered how it worked, so I asked my older brother how such a tiny machine could do arithmetic many times faster than a person. The answer I got was a single word: "Programming."
From then on I was captivated by that word, "programming." I did not yet understand what it meant, but to the untutored mind of a sixth-grader it was the art of making a machine "think" and "do maths." In eleventh grade I was introduced to the Pascal programming language, and it was as if my mind had been opened; everything I had wondered about this thing called "programming" was finally explained. From that point on I threw myself into learning about it, writing simple programs to solve maths problems with all the passion and enthusiasm I had. And it was then that I found what I love — a love of programming.
I am now studying Information Technology at the College of Information Technology – University of Đà Nẵng. And I believe that following what you love is the surest road to success.
